Pedino village was heavily damaged in 1968 after the devastating earthquake and consequently was abandoned. In 1976, following the geologists' advice, the village was rebuilt in close proximity with more stable subsoil.
Today it is called Neo Pedino, it is the newest village of Limnos, filled with greenery. It has a beautiful square and in its center the temple of Agioi Pantes resides.
