Limnos has a large port in Myrina that serves short sea access to the island with routes operated all year round with a tendency to increase during the tourist season.
The connection to the port of Myrina is mainly via Lavrio, for those leaving from Central Greece and via Thessaloniki or Kavala, for visitors from Northern Greece, with an alternative port to that of Alexandroupoli.
There is also a coastal link with the following islands: Agios Eustratios, Psarra, Samothraci, Mytilini, Chios, Fournous, Ikaria, Samos, Rhodes, Leros, Patmos, Oinousses, Mykonos, Syros, and Tinos.
